GIVING TUESDAY
The New Jersey ME/CFS Association has been working on behalf of those with this disease since 1995.
Recent accomplishments include:
•Offering HS and Medical Student/Resident Scholarships
•Communicating through NJME/CFSA Website & Facebook page.
•Help Desk – dedicated volunteers use precious energy to respond to requests.
•Information for families experiencing school issues
•Educating healthcare providers by exhibited at the AAP/NJ (NJ pediatricians’ organization) School Health Conference.
•Meeting with the federal agencies via conference calls
•Collaborating with other state and national organizations
•Sponsoring support groups
•Advocating for ME/CFS on the national level.
•CFSAC (CFS Federal Advisory Committee) non-voting member (06/13-06/15)
